Framing has begun! I can walk through doorways and look through window framing. It is very cool to watch the progress. I was out on the hill twice yesterday solving step problems on the master suite deck (not enough room on the hot tub level to suit the project manager, Craig. We finally solved it by increasing the height of the lower deck by several inches so we'll need less steps down from the upper deck.
When I was out there in the morning the guys were working on either end of the house (Mike said this keeps more men busy more of the time) and when I was back there in the afternoon they were working on second story walls on the garage end. I hear from the guys that the view from the second story level is even better. Can't wait to see it for myself!!
I had an absolutely full and fun Seven Sisters Summer Solstice weekend before last and another great July 4th weekend. Parties, family, friends, church, good food, Harleys and Monte Montgomery. And as always, some time on Big Hill. Life is good.
